6th GRADE Girl's Division - Unlimited Defense:
For the 6th Grade Girl's division, we moved from straight man to man to unlimited defense.  You can play man-to-man, zone, trap, etc.  You are not limited to man to man.

BALL SIZE - girl's division only:
In recommendation from youth girls basketball association, the following in ball size will be used for the upcoming season:

• 3rd and 4th Grade Division - 27.5
• 5th - 8th Grade - 28.5

FREE THROWS

In accordance with the IHSA, the following rules for free throw will be used for upcoming season:

• Team fouls per quarter is 5.  After the 5th foul, you will get two free throws.  No more bonus.
• Team fouls reset after each quarter.
