    Rule Changes for 2024-2025 Season

    Rule Changes for 2024-2025 Season

By Brian Schauer 08/01/2024, 2:30pm CDT

The DYTBL board of commissioners have agreed to the following rule changes for the 24/25 season:

DYTBL LEAGUE FEE: $475 per team

BALL SIZE:  5th Grade Girls:  27.5

QUARTER LENGTH:  3rd Grade Boys - 6 minute quarter.
4th Grade, both Girls and Boys - to remain 7 minute quarters.

UPDATED PRESS RULE: 3rd and 4th Grade, both Girls and Boys: the word "press" has been replaced with "full court, man to man defense".  If game is within 10 points, a team can pick up full court, man to man defense within the last minute of the first half (2nd quarter), and the last two minutes of the second half (4th quarter). In the event of overtime, a team can pick up full court, man to man defense for the last two minutes of overtime.

Teams still abide by man to man rules throughout game*
